International Tea Day : My Love Hate Relationship With a Cup of Tea!

When I heard that today is International Tea Day, it immediately brought back my childhood memories that I would like to share with you. According to the United Nations , this Day is set aside  to promote and foster collective actions to implement activities in favour of the sustainable production and consumption of tea and raise awareness of its importance in fighting hunger and poverty. I remember  as a kid, that I was a champion in the consumption of tea, to the extent that in my household no one could sleep if I had not drank my tea (Milo chocolate drink). I must have had a cuppa too many then that, I was convinced I had drank all the tea I needed for my lifetime as a kid.

Nowadays, my  relationship with tea has evolved as I drink occasionally, sometimes making it too sweet and getting told off by the husband. In these modern days, Tea itself has also evolved. There are different colours, brands and flavours. Tea is now also been drank for different reasons and in different places and even in the highest of different global occasions. What ever your relationship with Tea is,  I wonder if you are in the same boat with me at the moment. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section and yea happy International Tea Day to all tea lovers, you and yours.
